East Coast Underwriters Announces Partnership with Niagara Re
We are pleased to announce that as of 2010, East Coast Underwriters (ECU) has entered into a joint venture with Niagara Re, whereby all Niagara Re operations have been subcontracted to East Coast. Niagara Re is the wholly owned Managing General Underwriter of Meritain, Inc., the largest privately owned third party administrator in the country. Under this new joint venture ECU has solidified its already strong relationship with Meritain.
As an added bonus and key strategic move the former Niagara Re Underwriting Team has joined ECU and opened a new office in the Buffalo, NY area.
